CV writer interview continued page 18

Q. What was the publisher’s opinion on this?
A. I think they thought it was strange that I was saying something that was different every other CV book author, so they probed me, effectively to test to see if what I was saying stood up.

Q. And did it?
A. Well they published my book, and I don’t think they would have done that if it didn’t.
As it happens, I didn’t mind answering the questions at all, it gave me the opportunity to prove that I knew what I was talking about, and it also gave them the confidence to know that I could back up everything I say in the book, with clear, logical examples.
