Some companies claim that professional CV writers improve your odds sixfold, tenfold or more. However, such statistics are completely meaningless. Firstly, some CVs need more work than others, secondly you are different from other job seekers / competitors, and thirdly, the aptitude of different CV writers varies enormously too. Really it is impossible to put an actual figure on it.
That said, there is little doubt that a truly top CV writer can dramatically boost your job prospects many times over.
