What We Say
We are no ordinary company and this is no ordinary CV book!
More information about the book
The CV book is not a typical one.
Pretty much all other CV books are just regurgitations of the same outdated theme, using well worn and flawed methodology which is largely based on myths rather than research, logic and rationale.
Most CV books traditionally just encourage the reader to copy bog standard methods, templates, examples pretty much parrot fashion, so you end up with something which is at best run-of-the-mill, and at worst even counter-productive.
The One Page CV, on the other hand, gives you far more.
Instead of leading you down the same minefields that other CV books do, it instead exposes and warns of the dangers of following flawed myths – giving you the reader, not only new (and better) ammunition to make more informed choices, but also giving you tools and easy-to-follow examples on how you can dramatically improve your own CV beyond recognition.
Whatever the state of your current CV the book can help you transform it into a far more legible, focused and targeted sales document that is a better length, more enticing to read and of far greater interest to employers. Whilst the book is entitled The One Page CV, it should still help you, regardless of whether your ideal/preferred CV length is longer. At the same time, there are distinct advantages associated with more concise CVs, and the book also illustrates these. Click to read more about some of the advantages of a one page CV.
The book is based on pioneering and highly successful CV writing methodology created by CV Succeed head writer, Paul Hichens, and is set to change the way people think about CVs.
