Q. Do these clients ever change their mind again?
A. Of course they do! They change their mind when either another adviser tells them the exact opposite of what the first ‘advisor’ told them, or they realise that the changes they have made are not working.

We have had numerous cases in the past where a client has changed our original high impact CV back into a longer, passive one and then tried it out in the job market without any luck so they finally decide to give our CV a go only to find that it works first time!

Q. How come some people take the advice of friends and recruiters instead of you?
A. You would have to ask them that. As mentioned, most people do appreciate that we know what we’re talking about, and do listen to our recommendations. At the same time, it’s only natural for people to listen to their friends, colleagues and recruiters – even those many recruiters who haven’t done a single jot of CV research.
