How well do you cope with difficult situations?

A chance to quote one of your key selling points or an achievement but avoid going into a lot of detail about the situation. If you can find a suitable example try to make sure it's one with a positive outcome that is relevant skills and attributes the interviewer is interested in and demonstrates how well you able to handle the situation. Briefly describe the situation explain what the difficulty was and if it was unresolved what impact it would have, on you and your colleagues and/or the work in hand. Explain that you identified the real difficulty and as a result you were able to quickly find an effective answer. This minimised the effect of the difficulty to everyone's satisfaction.
