What We Say

You need to tick all the right boxes, not just part or even most of them.

Selling Your Case – An Example

For example, try putting yourself in the employer’s shoes for a moment. Imagine you have 50 CVs piled up on your desk (and employers sometimes receive even more applications than that for jobs). Remember that employers are very busy people, and many just don’t have the time or the inclination to rake through the haystacks to find the needles. If you want to prick their attention, then you need to do it quickly, clearly and cannily.

As mentioned, part of this involves thinking about selling your case as a whole, or in other words a complete jigsaw, rather than just a collection of hashed together bits.
