What We Say

Sometimes the biggest obstable to landing a job isn’t your skills, experience or CV – it’s what you yourself do to your CV!

Own Goals

One consequence of these shifting goalposts is that by trying to do too much, people sometimes overcomplicate things and make their CV worse, rather than better.

For example, it is not uncommon for a candidate to resort to squeezing everything together and reducing the font size to miniscule proportions in order to keep their CV with the recommended maximum length.

It is all well and good, but in CV writing two wrongs don’t make a right (and even one wrong can be disastrous).
